Did Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai drop out of Gulab Jamun?
The eight-year-long wait just got longer as reports state that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have walked out of Gulab Jamun.
Indian publications have reported that the duo have changed their minds about being part of the project due to the script. Ash and Abhishek had asked for changes to be made to the script after confirming that they've signed the film.
However, the two decided to opt out of the project altogether while the changes were underway. It's not yet certain why they exited.
Gulab Jamun, which was to be produced by Anurag Kashyap, would have seen the two stars reunite onscreen after a eight year hiatus.
Earlier this year Ash had confirmed her involvement in the film, saying, "It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly."
