Is a Ms Marvel movie in the works?
Muslim superhero Ms Marvel aka Kamala Khan might just be joining the MCU.
NME reports that according to Marvels Studio president Kevin Feige, there are plans to get the young hero on board the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Captain Marvel’s shooting right now with Brie Larson,” Feige told BBC. "Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world."
Looks like Marvel is finally picking up on the need for more representation in the MCU!

Kamala Khan became a part of Marvel comics in 2013. While not the first Muslim hero, she gained a lot of popularity due to the time her character was introduced in.
With the next superhero to be introduced in the movies being Captain Marvel, it makes sense that Kamala Khan will be joining the MCU considering she is very inspired by the original Ms Marvel.
