Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor prep for upcoming film 'Brahmastra'
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's film is finally happening.
It's been a long wait since 2014, but the duo's upcoming film tilted Brahmastra is finally going under production. Karan Johar tweeted a photo of Alia, Ranbir and the film's director Ayan Mukerji, who are currently in Tel Aviv, Israel for the shoot.
Amitabh Bachchan is also part of the cast. Alia and Ranbir started prepping for the film months prior to the shoot. The Highway star tweeted a photo of herself going over scripts of her upcoming projects: Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh and Brahmastra.
Even Ranbir was seen taking DJ lessons in New York.
Though not much is known about the project or the actors' respective roles, the director disclosed that the film will revolve around romance. "In its core it has a romance element but it has got a new flavour to it."
"It's a huge project and lot of people have faith in it and in me so I need to deliver for my own career, for the producer, the actors and the entire crew."
The film's shoot is slated to begin next month.
