Ali Zafar to star opposite Alia Bhatt in his Bollywood next

While he's busy in the production of his first film Deosai, Ali Zafar seems to have the time to sign his next Bollywood film, a report in Filmfare suggests.

This film happens to be English Vinglish director Gauri Shinde's next - the same film that features a Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt romance that has raised more than a few eyebrows.

According to Filmfare, Ali Zafar will also woo Alia at some point in the film, as will Rang De Basanti actor Kunal Kapoor.

That's a lot of male attention! Well, the director did say that her film will not feature "a typical romance".

The untitled film will be Ali Zafar's seventh Bollywood title, after such films as Kill Dil, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and the Chashme Baddoor remake.

Coincidentally, Alia Bhatt is currently promoting her upcoming film Kapoor & Sons, which stars another Pakistani hearthrob Fawad Khan.

Indian Film Industry, so large and so versatile, seems to be in a state of real crisis as it cannot find suitable heroes from amongst its own people. This is not to belittle Ali Zafar's talent who in his own right is OK. However, I do not believe that India has to use the services of Pakistani actors even though the step is appreciable.

Ali zafar, fawad, mahira, mawra, meera. Now it is with real authority one can say that we have made it big in bollywood and soon gonna dominate their actors. Imagine when our actors are in higher demand than theirs. Fawad is already the highest paid actor in bollywood. That is what is called talent

@Adnan Aziz, there is no compulsion to find actor/ actress for particular country or state or religion in indian film industry. so there is no question that we could not find in India.

@Adnan Aziz The equation is very simple.. For a similar role a a non famous bollywood actor would charge more than the already established pakistani actors.. and these pakistani actors would charge lesser compared to the bollywood actors in similar league... Fawad Khan charges lesser than John abraham, Tushar Kapoor.. and fawad ensures 20-25crores from pakistan... its not lack of talent in India its Business!

@Adnan Aziz It is not about Large and ability to find among its own people.. There are more than 550-600 projects running at a given time. There is only space for so many of them.
