Ranveer Singh is hands down one of Bollywood's finest. And perhaps, the Lootera star's good looks were a bit 'too hot to handle' for the sculptors at Musée Grévin wax museum, Paris.

If you didn't already know, Ranveer's recent travels to Paris were not just for fun, the star was gone to give measurements for his wax statue planned to be unveiled on his birthday, July 6.

On his day, the museum curators unmasked the statue only to have the internet respond with horror. Let's just say it's better that the actor wasn't present for the unveiling.

Here's how Twitter handled Ranveer's wax statue. Honestly, it's a bit of a mess...

One user compared it to Akshay Kumar... though we don't see it

But what he really meant was this is what Bollywood would look like if it were a wax statue

Another cheered 90s model-turned-actor Rahul Roy (the guy who turns into a tiger in one of Bollywood's iconic horror movies) for finally getting a wax statue

Of course! They confused Ranveer Singh for Indian choreographer Shiamak Davar

Totally doubting the sculptor's intentions

He's eccentric, people. #Deal

Albeit, there were a few whose love for Ranveer is ahem questionable

It took sculptor Eric Saint Chaffray and the Grévin’s artistic teams around nine months to produce the Befikre actor's 32nd birthday gift.

Ranveer also became the third Bollywood star to get a statue after Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai at the Grévin in Paris.

We wonder what he has to say about it..

The person who resembles the statue will be so happy.Atleast somebody is there who will joyfully shout "O that's me".
