Bilal Khan isn't the only musical talent on the sets of hit TV serial Sammi.

Last night, veteran actor Adnan Siddiqui, who co-stars with Bilal in the serial, reminded fans that he is also an accomplished flutist.

Adnan and Bilal performed an instrumental rendition of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's popular track 'Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki' — and fans loved their performance.

In a post on Facebook, Adnan explained that their impromptu jam was "a musical break" between takes on the Sammi set.

He wrote, "[We] jammed for a bit before we could get back to our characters — this switch served me well... after all, I am playing an assassin in the drama."

The actor added that he thinks "music is the best way to unwind.":

"Be it the harsh weather conditions, the never ending working hours or just the traditional mood swings; music soothes it all out."

He told his fans that he'll share more musical performances. Let's hope he makes good on his promise!

Dear Adnan, whenever you are doing crazy characters, funny, out of the box things, you are amazing. First time I thought you got some spark was when you portrayed a retarded brother and you were fantastic. and there are so many other examples where you have sparkled. but the point is that Do More Edgy things.

Wow! Just loved his notes. Very soothing. AS played on the flute as comfortably as he plays his roles. Our own super actor. Our own George Clooney.
