Political turmoil and lawlessness rocked Karachi for two days in the aftermath of MQM workers storming the offices of ARY News on Monday.
A quick succession of events followed: senior MQM leader Farooq Sattar was taken in for questioning by the Rangers in a dramatic stand-off, MQM founder Altaf Hussain apologised to Pakistan, Aamir Liaquat said some stuff, the MQM sought to distance itself from its London-based boss... and in all this, people still found time to make jokes.
