Cricket is on (almost) every Pakistani's mind these days - and we're letting the world know.

On social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, Pakistanis are using profile photo filters to extend their support to the country's cricket teams. (We've also used the mechanism to start an peace initiative that piqued Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's interest.)

It's a pity, though, that we have to choose between supporting the women's cricket team with a filter that features captain Sana Mir and her girls or the men's cricket team with a green swoosh that frames our faces on the bottom. Perhaps, we can alternate.

Some celebs, however, have sided resolutely with the women's cricket team:

The hashtag took off on Twitter too, with several shout-outs to the team, particularly Javaira Khan who was injured yesterday:

@Kamal siddiqui - Give it a rest please. Instead of injecting distraction, let the girls play.
