Bollywood star Katrina Kaif denies she's getting married in December
Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif has denied reports that she and fellow actor Vicky Kaushal are getting married in December.
Speaking to BollwyoodLife, the star said she isn’t getting married. When asked about the reason for the rumours of her marriage and relationship with Kaushal, she said “That’s a question i have [had] for the last 15 years.”
Indian media outlets have claimed that Kaif and Kaushal are getting married in December in Rajasthan.
According to the outlets, they have already finalised their wedding clothes and Kaif is “planning” to wear an outfit by designer Sabyasachi. According to ETimes, the starlet has chosen a raw silk number for her ensemble, which is going to be a lehenga.
A source told BollywoodLife that the news is “absolutely rubbish”. “The two actors have no such plans. It has become a trend for some to circulate such stories about Vicky and Katrina every few months,” they said. Neither Kaif nor Kaushal have ever confirmed that they were dating. In June, fellow actor and Sonam Kapoor's brother Harshvardhan Kapoor let the news slip, but the actual people involved have remained silent.
Earlier this month reporters asked Kaushal about his supposed engagement to Kaif which he denied. “The news was circulated by your friends," he told the reporters. "I’ll get engaged soon enough, when the time is right. Uska bhi time aayega [the time will come].”
Kaif is currently busy with promotions for Sooryavanshi, her latest project alongside Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. The film is scheduled to release on November 5. Kaushal starred in the recently released Sardar Udham, which is based on the life of Sardar Udham Singh, a freedom fighter who assassinated then lieutenant-governor of Punjab Michael O'Dwyer in retaliation for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
