FIR registered after Bollywood's Salman Khan and father Salim Khan receive threatening letter
Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father, producer and screenwriter, Salim Khan received on Sunday a threatening letter. The Indian media reported that the Bandra police have filed an FIR against an unknown person.
On Sunday, news agency ANI tweeted about the letter and how the police is now involved in the matter. It also read that a further investigation is underway.
"Salim Khan follows a morning routine where he goes for a walk on the promenade accompanied by his security personnel. There's a location where he typically takes a break. A chit had been left behind on a bench," a police officer told Times of India.
"Moosa Wale jaisa kar dunga (Will make you like Moose Wala)," the chit read. Indian police is also looking into the matter, according to the publication, with the help of CCTV footage. The note was addressed to both Salim and Salman. Sidhu Moose Wala, a Punjabi rapper, was shot dead in Punjab last month.
The Radhe actor, Salman, had travelled to Abu Dhabi for the IIFA Awards on Saturday and returned ]to Mumbai the very next day. Salman, Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul were the hosts at the annual award ceremony.
On the work front Salman will be seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif soon. On May 14, the actor shared the first look of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and wrote, "Shooting commences for my new film ...."
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will also feature Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Bigg Boss season 13 contestant and model Shehnaaz Gill, and Zaheer Iqbal. The movie is helmed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is scheduled to release on December 30, 2022 and, according to the Indian media, Shah Rukh will also make a cameo in the movie.
