Ramazan is coming to an end but netizens aren't ready to bid farewell to drama Hum Tum yet

Ramazan specials are coming to an end but there are some shows and characters netizens aren't ready to part with just yet, and one of those shows is Hum Tum. For many, the drama gave a new perspective to female and male characters that are often portrayed on TV in a very stereotypical way.

Hum Tum is a story about two dysfunctional families that live side by side as neighbours. While one house has three daughters who excel at everything other than house chores, the other has two older sons, Sarmad and Adam who participate in house chores and take care of their sister Millie. Their differences cause a rift between Neha (Ramsha Khan) and Adam (Ahad Raza Mir), who despise each other. When another man walks into Neha's life, Adam then realises his feelings and tries to win her over.

We don't know how their story will end yet, but netizens are not ready to bid farewell to the drama.

A Twitter user penned an appreciation tweet for Mir and his acting in the 29th episode of the show that ended with Neha's engagement to Sarim (Omer Shahzad).

Another appreciated the writer for creating a male character who could handle rejection, unlike many other chat.

For this user, more stories deserve to be explored before the drama ends. A few more episodes exploring Sarmad's journey as a student, Neha and Adam's relationship and, Ulfat being appreciated for her efforts is something we'd like to see as well.

Another user described the emotional scene between Adam and Neha that the recent episode closed with. Adam's inner struggle shone through as he faced Neha arriving at her engagement.

This user also shared the look between Adam and Neha.

For this user, the scene where Adam couldn't face Neha any longer and teared up made them cry as well.

This user believes this scene was the embodiment of the saying "distance makes the heart grow fonder".

This Twitter user simply adores the relationship between Adam and Maha (Sarah Khan) who becomes his sister-in-law after getting married to Sarmad.

Taking to Instagram, Mir's mother Samra Asif shared the OST of the drama and wrote how time went by and she couldn't tell when the drama started and ended. Asif also wished the cast and said, "You guys are brilliant and love you all. Let's give a big round of applause to the entire team for their hard work."

She even wished everyone a happy Eid and tagged the show producer's Momina Duraid, writer Saima Akram Chaudhry and director Danish Nawaz in her appreciation post.

The official cast of the rom-com includes Mir, Ramsha, Sarah Khan, Junaid Khan, Uzma Beg, Farhan Ally Agha, Syed Mohammad Ahmed, Adnan Jaffar, Arjumand Rahim, Saife Hasan, Salma Asim, Aina Asif and Anoosheh Rania Khan.
