Maryam Nawaz wows with her vocals by singing 'Chura Liya' at son Junaid Safdar's wedding event
When it comes to politicians with musical abilities, it seems the Sharif family doesn't have much competition. Every member of the family seems to be a vocalist, including Maryam Nawaz.
After videos of her cousin Hamza Shahbaz singing went viral, a video of Maryam has now surfaced in which the PML-N vice president showcases her beautiful voice. She was singing at at event organised by Hamza for her son Junaid Safdar's wedding.
She was given the microphone by the singer and sang 'Chura Liya' by Asha Bhosle and Muhammad Rafi from the 1973 film Yaadon Ki Baraat.
The wedding reception will be held on December 14 in Islamabad and a valima in Lahore on December 17, the PML-N has confirmed. But before the actual wedding events, there are many, many smaller festivities and it seems the Sharifs will be showcasing their vocals at them.
This isn't the first time a member of the Sharif family has wowed the internet with their vocals. Junaid wowed everyone by singing at his nikah in London, his grandfather, former premier Nawaz Sharif, is known to be a music aficionado and who can forget Shehbaz Sharif's vocals.
