Hamza Shahbaz takes centre stage by singing at an event to celebrate Junaid Safdar's wedding

Is it really a Sharif family wedding if there someone isn't singing their heart out? The most recent member of the family to take control of the microphone was Hamza Shahbaz, the leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly.

Videos have been circulating online of Hamza sitting at a celebration held in Lahore ahead of the wedding of his cousin Maryam Nawaz's son's wedding. Hamza hosted an event at his house in Lahore ahead of Junaid Safdar's wedding to Ayesha Saif Khan.

The wedding reception will be held on December 14 in Islamabad and a valima in Lahore on December 17, the PML-N has confirmed.

This isn't the first time a member of the Sharif family has wowed the internet with their vocals. Junaid wowed everyone by singing at his nikah in London, his grandfather, former premier Nawaz Sharif, is known to be a music aficionado and who can forget Shehbaz Sharif's vocals. We have no word yet on whether his parents have any singing skills too.

Maryam has taken a break from political activities during her son’s wedding, the PML-N had announced earlier.

Several PML-N leaders were spotted listening to Hamza, including, of course, the mother of the groom, Maryam.

The father of the groom, Captain (retd) Safdar, was also there.

As was PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzaib seated next to Nawaz Sharif's sister Kauser. According to Aurangzaib, she was there in a personal capacity as a friend of the family.

Though we didn't spot him in the videos from the event, the groom has also arrived in Pakistan.

As Junaid's wedding approaches, we wonder who else will surprise us with their singing skills.
