Netizens flood Twitter with messages of support after Inzamam ul Haq undergoes heart surgery

Twitter was flooded with prayers and messages of support for former Pakistan Cricket captain Inzamam ul Haq after news surfaced of him suffering a heart attack and undergoing surgery.

Haq underwent an angioplasty following the medical emergency and is said to be in stable condition. Worried fans took to Twitter to praise his cricket skills and send him their love and support.

"Inzamam ul Haq suffered a heart attack," a user posted. "Get well soon Legend. Praying for your speedy recovery."

"Inzamam Ul Haq suffered a heart attack. Alhumdullilah he is stable now. May Allah give you health," a user tweeted.

"Our most heartfelt and sincere prayers for the speedy and complete recovery of Inzamam ul Haq, who suffered a heart attack and had to undergo an emergency angioplasty procedure. Get well soon, legend," a tweet read.

Many netizens highlighted how they saw grew up watching the cricket player represent Pakistan. "I'm from a generation who, when started watching cricket in their childhood, saw Inzamam leading Green shirts. A warrior captain and even more elegant batsman who has all the time in the world to play the shots. Get well soon, legend," a tweet read.

Users remembered Haq off the field as well. "Inzamam ul Haq was not just a great batsman on the field but he is a gem of a person too. While touring India back in 2005, he bought two bats for Ganguly from Sialkot," a user posted.
