Katrina Kaif tests positive for Covid-19

Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has tested positive for the coronavirus.

She announced the news via Instagram Stories.

Kaif, known for hits such as Dhoom 3 and Tees Maar Khan, said she is isolating at home and urged people she came into contact with to get tested as well.

She is on of many Bollywood stars to contract the virus, including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the Bachchan family. Actor Akshay Kumar was recent hospitalised after testing positive for the virus.

Kaif was filming in Mumbai for Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan at the time of her diagnosis. Khan will reportedly continue filming.

A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Kaif was scheduled to resume filming at the end of April, as she had already filmed most of her parts so this will not delay production.
