On this day in 1992, Pakistan won the World Cup and Twitter is nostalgic

On March 25, 1992 the Men in Green beat England by 22 runs to win their first-ever ICC Cricket World Cup — a win the nation still remembers and cherishes.

The team was captained by now Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan, who had given England a target of 250 runs after terrific half centuries by Javed Miandad and PM Khan then played a wonderfully timed innings ended by Wasim Akram and Inzamam ul Haq, which brought the team's total score to 249.

On this day, 29 years later, Akram is full of nostalgia as he remembers the "best day of his cricketing career by miles."
