Young Stunners' fans are competing with Geo TV for YouTube rankings

When a music video by Pakistani artists hits 1.3 million views in just five days, it’s definitely something we’re going to talk about. The music video in question is for Afsanay by Young Stunners, a rap/hip-hop duo featuring the vocals of Talhah Yunus and Talha Anjum.

It is no small feat for a video to hit 1.3 million in just five days in Pakistan. The percentage of internet users in Pakistan is still small in comparison to other countries; the viewing numbers for a locally uploaded video on YouTube won’t stack up as quickly as they might elsewhere.

How then did Afsanay rise to the top so quickly? It’s the work of a truly devoted fandom. Browse through the comment section underneath the video and you’ll find fans adamant on making the music video trend at #1 on YouTube. It's currently at #3. The hack is to play the song on repeat so that the number of views keeps on increasing beyond 1.3 million.

Apparently the number of views hit a bit of a slump for a while and the video briefly dropped to #4 from #3, but fear not! Young Stunners’ fans have it under control.

The ultimate thorn in the fans’ side is Geo TV’s 222-hour long (yes, you read that right) live-stream video. Beating the Geo TV video numbers will bring Afsanay that much closer to the lofty #1 spot in the Trending list.

Of course people are also commenting on how they are really digging the song.

There are some familiar names in the comment section, like YouTuber Ducky Bhai.

You’ll also see a familiar looking fan who is pretty famous for his own music. We see you bopping to the beat there Shamoon Ismail.

Afsanay is from Young Stunner’s latest EP ‘A Tale of two Talhas’. The duo have recently been in the spotlight for their song Groove Mera, the PSL 2021 anthem sung by Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and the two young Talhas.

The Young Stunners fandom might not have a name, unlike Lady Gaga's Little Monsters, the BTS ARMY, Ariana Grande's Arinators and Taylor Swift's Swifties, but it's got just as much passion as anyone else. We're cheering them on in their race to #1!
