Indian actor Anupam Kher is crossing milestones each year, this time he's bagged a British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) nomination.
The 63-year-old has been nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in BBC film The Boy with the Topknot based on the memoir of the same name by Indian journalist Sathnam Sanghera.
The story is about a second generation Indian growing up in Britain and how he tries to juggle family, love life and career.
Anupam took to Twitter to thank BAFTA for the recognition, saying that he’s ‘honoured and humbled’.
Bollywood was immensely proud of the actor and congratulated the actor on Twitter.
The BAFTAs are set to take place on May 13 at Royal Festival Hall, London.
