Baaghi's trailer shows Qandeel's journey from a small-town girl to a social media celeb

After the teasers presented snippets of Qandeel Baloch's life, Baaghi's trailer comes full circle and paints a complete picture.

The 2-minute trailer shows Qandeel's progression (and struggles) from a village girl with high ambitions to a city girl becoming a social media sensation.

It starts with Qandeel's life in the village; how she is treated by her family, especially her older brother, and her abusive marriage and progresses to her life in the city, where she changes her name from Fauzia to Qandeel Baloch to become a star.

The video shows her turning towards social media for stardom, participating in reality singing competition Pakistan Idol and breaking down during the course of the show.

The cast includes Saba Qamar, Ali Kazmi, Osman Khalid Butt, Sarmad Khoosat, and Nimra Khan among others.

Baaghi will air July 27th.
