Priyanka Chopra to host anti-poverty concert headlined by Metallica, Rihanna

She is a star, a singer and a philanthropist.

Bollywood starlet Priyanka Chopra will be seen hosting this year's Global Citizen Festival alongside, Hugh Jackman & Deborra-lee, Neil Patrick Harris, Salma Hayek, Chelsea Handler and Seth Meyers, reported Billboard.

The festival will be headlined by some of the music industry's top stars Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Major Lazer and Metallica. They will be joined by Usher, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Ellie Goulding, Eddie Vedder, Yandel and Yusuf/Cat Stevens for special guest performances.

Global Citizens Festival is a free-ticketed event in which you have to earn the ticket "by taking action to help solve the world’s biggest challenges," says the main website.

In order to win tickets for the event, one has to choose from a list of actions on their website www.globalcitizenfestival.com. Once they have promoted and advocated an action, this will earn them points and once they have earned enough points, they can enter the draw for festival tickets.

Earn tickets by advocating and promoting quality education for all, including refugee children and girls around the world.

People from all over the world can participate. There are a total of approximately 50,000 free tickets to the festival which will be given out to Global Citizens.

The fifth annual festival is set to take place on September 24th at Central Park, NY.
