Quantico star Priyanka Chopra bags People's Choice Award nomination

The show has been nominated as well in the Favourite New TV Drama category.

Every time we think Priyanka Chopra has fans impressed, she goes and outdoes herself.

The former Miss World is blazing a trail as one of the first Indian leads in her US TV series, Quantico, in which she plays a FBI agent turned suspected terrorist Alex Parrish.

As if that wasn't enough, the Bollywood actress has bagged her first People's Choice Awards' nomination, in the category of Favourite Actress in a New TV Series, reports NDTV.

The other four nominees in the category are: Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Marcia Gay Harden and Lea Michelle.

The show itself has also been nominated in the Favourite New TV Drama category.

People's Choice Awards is the only major award show voted on entirely by the public for fan favourites in the entertainment industry, from music and television to movies.

The Bajirao Mastani actress has been nominated with some big names of the industry and there's stiff competition. Here's hoping she wins!

People's choice award ??? There are million of Indian audience who worked day and hard to get her nominated. Therefore this is not surprising.

This series is a low budget series like Homeland , State of Affairs and many others , where digital technology is at it's best , and it is nothing but about a bunch of paranoid psychopaths hell bent on treachery , fornication and deception. Just look and do you see any prominent actors in any one of these series. As for Ms. Chopra , she has obliterated the values of Indian culture by playing a role of a sex maniac.

Who is the doctor who did the botox on Priyanka? They ruined her face. Her acting is mediocre anyway but she has fought against all odds in Bollywood and has made India proud
