Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan have dropped the first look of their upcoming film, tentatively titled ALBM — and they’ve done it well before we expected. The surprise reveal landed barely three days after the film’s wrap announcement, catching fans delightfully off guard.

Building momentum for the teaser release slated for January 3, the duo shared a slick 10-second video that instantly set the tone. Shot in close-up, it zooms in on Mustafa and Mahira’s faces, partially concealed in daku-style cloth masks, leaving only their eyes visible — exposed and unblinking. As the camera pans through what appears to be a locker full of cash and coins, the two stare on, a glint of mischief and hunger unmistakable in their gaze.

“Behind the masks are faces you know… and a story you don’t,” Mustafa teased in his caption.

Written and directed by Bilal Altaf Khan, ALBM is reportedly a comedy and brings together Mustafa, Mahira and Tabish Hashmi on the big screen. The film is backed by ARY Films, Salman Iqbal Films and Big Bang Films, with its first teaser officially set to drop in the first week of the new year.

“Get ready for the first glimpse! Fahad Mustafa & Mahira Khan bring you the ALBM teaser on 3rd Jan 2026! Mark the date!”

Just days earlier, Mustafa had shared a picture of the film slate announcing the end of shooting, with a simple “It’s a Wrap” written beneath the film’s name.

“That’s a wrap on ALBM,” he wrote in the caption. “Months of passion, precision, and storytelling captured on camera.”

“Now begins the countdown… much more coming your way soon,” the Jeeto Pakistan host promised fans.

Following the massive success of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, ALBM marks Mustafa’s return to on-screen acting — and notably, to the big screen — after more than a year. Between television, film, hosting and even fashion (with the launch of his clothing brand Nine Figures last year), he has remained a constant presence in Pakistan’s entertainment culture.

Mahira, meanwhile, was most recently seen reuniting with Fawad Khan during promotions for their film Neelofar, which released on November 28.

The duo was last seen on the big screen in Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza’s action comedy Quaid E Azam Zindabad. With ALBM, the two superstars are now set to share screen space once again — and if the first look is anything to go by, they’re already sitting on a story worth watching.
