That wedding snap? Just a BTS from the music video of his new song 'MEMORIES', the first track of his upcoming album DKP.

Not to say we told you so because well, we didn’t, but we knew Hasan Raheem wasn’t actually off the market. However, the singer did play with many hearts when he made a not-so-convincing but not too ambiguous ‘marriage’ announcement in April.

The ‘Joona’ hitmaker sent the internet into a collective spiral with a cryptic Instagram post that screamed “I do” but whispered “music video”. Dressed in full groom gear and seated next to a woman in bridal attire, Raheem captioned the photo, “kept it lowkey, it was a big day.”

Fans assumed the worst. Had he really gone and broken Gen-Z hearts without even a soft launch? To make matters worse, he took a cue from Ahmed Ali Akbar and refused to let anyone share the photo on other platforms.

But the plot twist was that it was all just cinema. Raheem dropped a bombshell on Friday: he’s still single. That wedding snap? Just a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the music video of his new song ‘MEMORIES’, the first track of his upcoming album DKP.

“Abhi bhi kunwara hun [I’m still single],” he declared on Instagram, reassuring fans that no nikkah papers were signed in real life. There were, however, beats, bars, and bridal couture.

Even in this reel-life shaadi, the man still manages to break hearts. In the music video, just as Raheem is getting his groove on in his dulha look, the ghosts of girlfriends past crash the party in full force. One by one, they emerge — dramatic, disillusioned and definitely not here for blessings.

A literal catfight breaks out among them before they realise that the common enemy is, in fact, him. Cue the chaos. Raheem gets a well-deserved on-screen beating — things get bloody, heels are flying, egos are bruised, and it’s all set to a thumping beat. Truly, art.

The track itself is a vibe — featuring none other than the Justin Bibis (yes, the same duo from Coke Studio 14’s ‘Peechay Hutt’). Raheem sings in Punjabi for the first time, giving us a groovy blend of chill pop, dance, R&B, and a sprinkle of Punjabi folk flavour. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to cry at a wedding — stylishly.

Naturally, the comments under his “I’m still kunwara” post are a goldmine of sass, relief, and emotional damage. Osman Khalid Butt summed it up perfectly with, “I knew the news couldn’t be real when I saw your unwashed hair.” Anoushey Ashraf simply went with, “Good job!!!!” — because what else do you say to a man who staged a full-blown shaadi for a music video?

Fans, on the other hand, are spiralling. One wailed, “Bro you played with my heart!” Another yelled in all caps, “SO MY HEARTBREAK WASN’T EVEN REAL, JOONA?” And the real MVP? “Cried my eyes out over your shaadi post meanwhile you out here with ‘tel laga ke’ shooting a music video?” Justice for the emotionally invested!

So, to summarise: Hasan Raheem is not married. He is still the nation’s crush. He’s giving us cinematic heartbreak, dancefloor bangers, and comedic chaos — all in one go.

Until the next plot twist (or album drop), we’re taking his word for it, Raheem is officially, unequivocally, unapologetically… kunwara.

What is so special about marriage? Every able person marries and the singer shouldn't be any exception? Every bachelor is on the market before marriage.

@M. Saeed Marriage with the right person is a blessing. Very special. Yet not everybody will experience marriage. But this article is more about girls swooning over Hasan Raheem and his being single, because apparently they all think they have a chance in marrying him lol
