Fahad Mustafa was honoured by the British House of Parliament with two awards, the Diversity and Cultural Impact Award and the Global Cultural Unity Award.

The actor revealed the news in an Instagram post, stating that the recognition was not his alone but belonged to “every artist, every dreamer, and every storyteller in Pakistan who dares to dream big and cross boundaries.”

Mustafa continued that the awards were a testament to the power of Pakistani culture, stories and the unyielding spirit of unity that shone on the global stage.

“As a proud Pakistani, I am deeply honoured and humbled to receive the Diversity and Cultural Impact Award and the Global Cultural Unity Award at the prestigious House of Commons. Every time I stand here, representing my homeland, I am reminded of the incredible strength, beauty, and potential of Pakistan and its people.”

Mustafa thanked Member of Parliament Naz Shah, Lord Wajid Khan and Multicultural UK for the awards and for making it an unforgettable evening for him.

According to Geo News, the ceremony was organised by Multicultural UK, and Shanza Raja, the director of the organisation said Mustafa was honoured for his record-breaking achievements, including the success of his latest television show Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, which amassed over one billion views across the world.

Raja said: “His ability to captivate audiences worldwide has earned him comparisons to Hollywood icons such as Ryan Reynolds and Idris Elba, underlining his charisma, versatility, and global appeal.

“This evening is a celebration of cultural synergy, storytelling, and the profound impact of South Asian talent in bridging communities. Fahad Mustafa’s contributions remind us of the power of representation on the global stage. This landmark occasion marked a new chapter in spotlighting South Asian excellence on the world stage.”

Last month, Mahira Khan was honoured by the British House of Parliament for her “remarkable contributions to global cinema and her role as a cultural ambassador”.

The award ceremony, held in the House of Commons, was hosted by Member of Parliament Afzal Khan and supported by cross-party parliamentarians, recognising Khan’s impact on cultural exchange and women’s empowerment.
