The crossover we never saw coming with the Barbie movie was Ryan Gosling and BTS’ Jimin. But it’s not a musical crossover — it’s a sartorial one.
It all started with a blinged out black cowboy outfit. Jimin wore it in the ‘Permission To Dance’ music video and Gosling wore it in the Barbie movie, when Ken and Barbie arrive in the real world.
Gosling, being the true Ken he is, acknowledged Jimin wearing the outfit first and said he would apologise for stealing his outfit by giving him his most prized possession — Ken’s guitar. Which was fine, since Ken can’t really play the guitar.
The crossover had fans squealing — and dropping some secrets.
But nothing excited fans as much as when Jimin responded!
“Hi Ryan and hi Ken, congrats on your big release! My fans were excited to see your video, so thanks for that. I could see you look great in my outfit, and thank you for this guitar, I really love it,” he said, giving the Barbie movie a shoutout.
Brb, we’re freaking out!
