Internet sensation Hasbulla faces house arrest for traffic violation in Russia

The police caught him and his friends blocking off a street to do donuts with their vehicles while celebrating a friend's wedding.

Social media sensation Hasbulla Magomedov has been placed under house arrest for his involvement in a traffic felony along with his friends in his hometown of Dagestan, a republic of Russia. He had earlier been arrested but was granted bail in the case.

Hasbulla tweeted confirmation of the development. He wrote, “Bailed out on house arrest.”

He was reportedly celebrating his friend’s wedding when local police caught him and his friends interfering with other drivers and blocking off a street to do donuts with their vehicles.

The Sun reported that the 20-year-old apologised for the incident on Instagram. He promised never to do it again and confirmed it wasn’t him driving.

“We decided to hype a little bit. That won’t happen again, people we apologise. We had to answer for it a little bit. I wasn’t driving either,” he wrote in Russian in a since expired story.

The UFC ambassador rose to popularity in 2020, when he started posting videos on Instagram, where he now has a following of 8.6 million. Later he also started uploading videos on TikTok, garnering him even more fame and popularity.
