It’s that time of the year — a new PSL anthem has emerged, ready for a faceoff with tonnes of criticism. Amidst the battle, one sound that appears unanimous is cheers for Shae Gill. Pakistani Twitter believes the ‘Pasoori’ singer might be the saving grace for ‘Sab Sitaray Humaray’.
This year’s anthem, produced by Abdullah Siddiqui, dropped on Saturday. It was performed by Asim Azhar, Gill and Faris Shafi. While the past has taught us that PSL anthems are initially almost always disliked and take some time to grow on us, netizens are already all praises for the ‘Sukoon’ singer’s part in the anthem.
Gill must have some very strong shoulders.
She has managed to silence some of the critics too.
Gill is the main attraction but Azhar managed to catch some of that praise too.
Only a matter of time.
