To some, body scrubs may be unnecessary in their shower routine but hey, if they make you smell and feel good, why not? This is where Sugarubs scrubs come in.

I saw them being advertised on Instagram and was about to ignore the ad until one product caught my attention — lavender and vanilla body polish. It smells like a spa and a vanilla flavoured drink at the same time and I regret not buying it the minute I saw it because it’s now a staple for me.

This scrub contains sugarcane sugar, which makes it easy to dissolve and, at the same time, do its job as a scrub. It also has coconut oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E and lavender and vanilla extracts. When it comes down to the price point, it gets even better. The 300g scrub retails for Rs1,000. The site also offers budget bundles for those wanting to try more items.

One downside for me is the packaging. The plastic tub slips out of my hands when applying the scrub. I hope they experiment a bit with the packaging, otherwise their products are worth spending your money on.
