The Pakistani entertainment industry is branching out to entertain audiences this year. We’ve seen Adnan Siddiqui’s Tamasha, the Pakistani edition of Bigg Boss, and now a game show called The Ultimate Muqabla starring some big names is set to release on October 15.

On Thursday, ARY Digital shared a clip on their Instagram, giving us a sneak peak of what the upcoming show is going to be about with host Shoaib Malik demonstrating a few fitness moves.

Mariyam Nafees, one of the contestants of the show, told Images about the experience. “We shot [The Ultimate Muqabla] in Thailand in June and July. It is hosted by Shoaib Malik and we also have cricketers in it, Kamran Akmal, Imad Wasim, Fawad Alam and Azam Khan.”

Introducing other contestants, she said that actors Haroon Shahid, Faiza Khan, model Farah Butt and fitness model Nusrat Hidayatullah are also among the contestants.

“It was a lot of fun. It’s a reality show. We played games right on the beach actually and it was shot in Phuket,” she said.

The Diyar-e-Dil actor said that The Ultimate Muqabla is a revived and “levelled up” version of ARY Zindagi’s reality show Madventures that ended in 2018 after three seasons. The first season was released in 2013 and was hosted by actor Ahsan Khan, the second by Ahmed Ali Butt and the final by Mohib Mirza.

The first season of the previous featured saw six contestants from Pakistan and another six from India. The other two seasons only featured contestants from Pakistan, just like the upcoming show. Madventures was touted as an adaptation of Fear Factor, a game show where participants face their worst fears and severe challenges for prize money.

Hammad Farooqui, Mahr Un Nisa, Sehar Afzal, cricketer Saeed Ajmal and DJ Neha Khan are also going to take part in the show

The show features a total of 14 contestants. It will be available to watch next week on Saturday at 9pm on ARY Digital.

@NYS what exactly is a jenitress job?. FYI Shoaib is currently the fittest available Pakistani not playing for Pakistan because of politics. He also excels in T20 foreign leagues that he plays in and gets paid handsomely
