The Pakistan cricket team are wearing black armbands at their Asia Cup match against India in solidarity with the people affected by the floods.

We spotted the bands on their arms ahead of the match and Geo News reported that the team was donning the bands in support of flood affectees.

Captain Babar Azam also posted a message a few days earlier, calling for people to help them as much as possible.

The PCB already announced that it will be donating the gate proceeds from the first T20i against England to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

The match is scheduled on September 20 at the National Stadium in Karachi and will begin at 7:30pm.

How stupid can Pakistanis be. Black arm band is worn when you protest against something. Like black flags are waved against somebody as a mark of protest. It would have been better to observe a minutes silence before the game.

What is the benefit of wearing black armbands? It is just nonsense and show-off. Flood affectees are not going to gain anything from the players' wearing black or white pieces of cloth.
