14 Jul, 2022

It’s July 14 and you know what that means — it’s Resident Evil day! But it might as well be called Ahad Raza Mir day because the actor’s fans are ecstatic about his Hollywood debut and are making sure he knows it.

Upon hearing that Mir had been cast in the show, his fans bookmarked the date, waiting eagerly for the Hum Tum actor’s appearance in the Netflix series. Now that it’s out, they’ve made sure to not only binge watch it but also have the star trending on Twitter, sending their love to the actor.

From raving about his chemistry with Ella Balinska (who plays Jade) to posting their favourite scenes and telling the Ehd-e-Wafa actor he killed it, Pakistani Twitter is filled with tweets of pure glee.

The wait is over indeed.

And Arjun Batra has made his entry.

Fans are proud.

Fans are working hard to get his name out there.

The chemistry between Mir and Balinska is “insane”.

Another scene that has their hearts.

Some are only watching Mir’s scenes.

The actor is trending in Pakistan and India.

Are you going to watch the series?

An Indian's role, they could have found better Indian actors than him for sure.

Its achievement for India not Pakistan. He's playing an Indian as many Pakistanis introduce themselves in foreign as Indian.

@Shezi lol. Who are those Pakistanis? Forget about how we talk, we also look different from Indians. Most Pakistanis are better looking, taller and definitely better spoken than Indians. In fact, i was once asked in New York City where i was from. When i responded from Pakistan, the guy shook my hand and said 'I have read about your country, you are tiny in front of India but India can't dare attack you guys. I salute your bravery and courage'.

@Shezi I have not met one Pakistani abroad that identifies themselves as Indian. Besides, if we did want to identify ourselves as another nationality, why on Earth would we stick to Indian?

@Shezi, Have lived in Europe for the last 39 years and haven't met a single Pakistani who would introduce him/herself as an Indian. But to your favor, yes most restaurants do introduce their menu as indian food. And that's from a marketing point of view as both the countries have same origin and similar cuisine, while India being a bigger country and most known to the tourists from Europe.

@Shezi I have not come across one person out here in America that was from Pakistan but pretended to be from India. And if I have to pretend to be from another country for some reason, believe me, yours will be the last on my list.

He is a fine & focused actor. Dont criticise cuz he played Indian. Does this make sense ?? If that is a matter of criticism then all the actors who played villains must not be praised. It doesnt matter what the role is, but how the actor performs. And Im sure Ahad Sir will perform brilliantly.
