Release of Timothee Chalamet's Dune: Part 2 delayed

The film will now release on Nov 17, 2023.

To all the Dune fans out there, anxiously awaiting the arrival of Dune: Part 2, we’re sorry to announce that you’ll have to wait a little longer. The movie has been pushed back from its initial release date of October 20, 2023, to November 17, 2023.

The film, which follows a sci-fi plot based on the 1965 novel of the same name, stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin and Zendaya.

The first instalment in the franchise received mainly positive reviews from critics and fans and was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, out of which it won six.

The upcoming film is set to premiere with other notable franchises, such as the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and animated movie Trolls 3.

The co-producers of Dune, Warner Bros. and Legendary, also announced a new Godzilla vs King Kong movie set to release on March 15, 2024.
