On Eid, we wear pink: Seven celebrities who killed the Eid fashion game this year

Pink seems to be the shade of the season with a number of leading ladies donning Eid outfits in varying shades of the colour.

Let's face it, Eid is about family, food and fashion. Pakistanis have impeccable style and they bring out their A game on Eid. This year, we noted that pink was the colour of the Eid season, with many celebrities choosing varying shades of pink for their outfits on the first day of Eid.

Nimra Khan

Nimra Khan oozed glamour in a gorgeous silk sari this Eid. We don't know where her sari is from, but she was styled by her manager Waleed Nadeem.

Maya Ali

Maya Ali wore her own label, Maya Pret, this Eid and looked gorgeous in a white silk gharara and short hot pink kameez on top.

Saboor Aly

Saboor Aly chose a classic outfit from designer Kanwal Malik — a chooridar and longer kameez.

Mawra Hocane

Mawra Hocane opted for a tea pink Asim Jofa sharara paired with a worked kameez from his upcoming collection.

Sarah Khan

New mom Sarah Khan chose a Maya Pret outfit in light pink, paired with a darker pink dupatta.

Amna Baber

Model Amna Baber chose an outfit from a designer from the other side of the border — Varsha. She's already modelled for the brand and says this was her favourite look from the collection.

Hadiqa Kiani

Singer Hadiqa Kiani wore a beautiful long tea pink kameez paired with a yellow dupatta from designer Sarwat Subhani.

Would good are these celebrities - juxtaposing a scared day of Eid with the fashion/sleeveless attire. Disgraceful. Every built as bad as those who 'celebrate' Eid at parties and at movies.

@Ibrahim S .Sari is an Indian basically historical ,religious costume..Bangladeshis women also wear them Few years back under martial law before division of country Saris was discouraged in Pakistan being symbol of Hindus.Else it is just an attire Indian young women now wear Saris only in marriages and customary otherwise mod clothes,salwar suits, etc

@Ibrahim S, our ladies still need to learn proper carrying of saris. In India, women wear saris even when doing all the house chores quite easily, while our ladies have a hell of a time even walking in saris.
