Hadiqa Kiani's new album Vasl is a means for her to explore her roots and she's doing that by producing music that's very raw, unconcerned about the commercial aspect of it all. The singer has received good reviews on 'Humsafar' and 'Rasta Bhool Gaye' and now her third single 'Woh Kon Hay' is out along with its music video.

"My new music video for 'Woh Kon Hay' is out now. I'm so grateful for the response we’ve seen on the first two singles of Vasl and I really hope you enjoy this one as well," Kiani captioned her Instagram post with snippets from the music video.

Draped a in flowing red dress, the Dobara actor serenades the viewers with the soothing song as she walks in the valleys of Punjab with mountains in the back to highlight the "raw connection that the ballads of Vasl aim to create."

The music video's caption reveals that Kiani will explore the roots of her music and reproduce her original compositions from the start of her career "for the next generation of Pakistani listeners." It also attributes the "organic Eastern structure" of the album to the need to create "an atmosphere of ease, comfort and peace." It calls the third single's stunning background a perfect complement to the raw connection that Vasl aims to create.

Fans have been ecstatic to welcome more of Kiani's music. Many reminisced about the old days in her comment section when they first listened to her and also lauded her acting skills. An Indian fan expressed her appreciation as well and Kiani was quick to respond to them, sending her love.

In an earlier interview with Something Haute, Kiani said Vasl is something she really experimented with saying she "pulled it out of a tunnel within" herself.

"It is not for [everyone] but people who are like minded and like to listen to it, they will relate to it. [The album has] easy listening kind of ballads. They aren't the kind that people can dance to while playing them at shaadis. They aren't popular songs."

Mentioning that the songs are not "commercial," she said they're "just what my heart felt, things I have expressed."
