We're going to be seeing Fasiq actor Adeel Chaudhry on our screens again very soon in upcoming drama Roag with Qissa Meherbano Ka actor Areej Mohyudin and Hangor actor Arez Ahmed. Chaudhry revealed that the drama will be dealing with the intricacies of "honour" in feudal families, including the topic of honour killing.

"This project, Roag, is directed by Misbah Khalid who is a very renowned director, produced by Moomal [Shunaid] and will be aired on Hum TV soon," Chaudhry told Images. "This is my first project with Moomal jee and Misbah Khalid's direction is excellent. Alongside myself are Areej, Babar Ali, Manzoor Qureshi sahab and Saima Qureshi." The cast also includes Raima Khan and Mariam Tiwana.

The Maan Jao Naa actor said it will be released either at the end of Feb or the first week of March. "Basically, this serial is about honour and how our feudal families so particular about honour, especially when it comes to their daughters. There's a lot included in there, honour killing as well. This is the issue that's basically been addressed and shoot-wise, Misbah jee has done a fantastic job."

Talking about his part in the story, he said, "Where my role is concerned, it was difficult for me because I had to be very raw to play this character as this man is not very civilised and lacks chivalry. My character has a lot of shades because by the look of it he's a very strong man but he has been deprived of a lot of things."

Chaudhry revealed that "in this family girls are married within the family because of honour and they don't approve of love marriage". So when this happens in my character's own life and he doesn't get the opportunity to opt for a love marriage as he's the eldest and has a lot of responsibilities, he is filled with vengeance which he then takes out on his sisters and females in his family when they want a love marriage, he explained. "He aggressively tells them it's not allowed.

"Let's see how the audience likes the character," he added. "I hope this project does well, as you know Fasiq is doing very well these days so I'm sure my project for Hum TV will do great too."

Mohyudin shared the first teaser for the drama on her Instagram and captioned it, "It’s finally here #Roag-e-Dil. I hope you guys love it and give good feedback. With our team effort and everybody’s hard work we present the first look of our up coming project so don’t miss it. Coming soon only on Hum TV." The show was originally titled Roag-e-Dil.

"Thank you so much for trusting me #Muskaan," she added.

The teaser features Muskan's (Mohyudin) father's death and her being asked to marry someone against her will by her father's murderer. She refuses and claims that she's in love with someone else.

Khan posted the second teaser on her Instagram account, captioned, "I am super excited to share the teaser of my upcoming serial."

This teaser shows Mohyudin declining Chaudhry's necklace and telling him she hates him. The scene then changes and Khan is facing a mirror with Chaudhry behind her. He portrays a toxic, alpha male who angrily rips the necklace off her neck and pearls scatter across the floor.
