Parizaad fans, looks like the screenwriters have sensed your sorrow over the drama coming to an end soon because they've decided to add another episode to the show, giving you a week's worth of extra time to bid Parizaad goodbye. Consequently, the dates for the cinema release and the TV airing have been pushed back by a week to Jan 28 and Feb 1 respectively.

"There is an increase in the number of episodes by one; there were supposed to be 28 episodes and now they're 29. The last episode will be aired on Feb 1 instead of Jan 25 and the cinema release has also been pushed back by a week — it'll be in cinemas Jan 28, Friday, four days before the TV release on Hum TV," Nasar Khan, Hum Network's PR manager, told Images.

"There is no reason as such [for the change of date]. They just decided to add an extra episode so the dates have been pushed back," he explained that the episode that was supposed to be the last is now the second last and the dates have shifted to accommodate the finale.

Directed by Shehzad Kashmiri, Parizaad is based on Hashim Nadeem's novel and the story revolves around a dark-skinned main character — played by the versatile Ahmed Ali Akbar — who has a pure heart and is gifted but constantly disregarded and treated poorly by people around him. The drama unfolds an interesting and unconventional story about the struggles of Parizaad as he navigates life.

The cast includes Nauman Ijaz, Syed Muhammad Ahmed, Urwa Hocane, Saboor Aly, Ushna Shah, Yumna Zaidi, Mashal Khan, Tipu Shah, Kiran Tabeer, Leyla Zuberi, Madiha Rizvi and Malik Hamid Raza.

It has become a very popular drama not just in Pakistan, but also across borders it seems as Indian designer Manish Malhotra used the instrumental version of the OST from Parizaad for his clothing campaign in Nov 2021.

The Parizaad house has also recently been put up for sale for Rs600 million. It's a large and lavish farmhouse located in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. The 6,000 square-yard plot has 14 bedrooms and multiple lounges.

Considering the ever-growing fanbase, it makes sense that the show has decided to air the finale on the big screen as people are already stirred up, trying to get their hands on the tickets to avoid waiting four whole days for the TV release when a spoiler can come at you every which way. The addition of an episode can only result in more glee and we can't wait to see what ends wait for Parizaad.

Total wrong description of eye problem of Ainee. Writer and director should have cosulted an eye specialist. This part is written like old pakistani movies. Lens is never relplaced with other human lens. But an artificial lens is implanted. So * mathing lens available* is a wrong base of this part of story.

One thing is for sure. This drama falls in the class of Zindagi Gulzar Hai in terms of life lessons and Hamsafar in terms of insane popularity. After many decades, Pakistan's drama industry is returning to the same quality content that once used to be telecast by PTV in its heydays. It's a brilliant piece of writing, acting, and directing.
