People on Twitter are losing it over rumours that reality TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian and comedian Pete Davidson may be dating. Sources have said the pair are just friends but who's going to stop the internet.

Davidson, 27, a cast member of Saturday Night Live, is known for dating several very famous women. He has dated singer Ariana Grande, Underworld actor Kate Beckinsale, model Kaia Gerber, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actor Margaret Qualley and, most recently, Bridgeton star Phoebe Dynevor.

Forty-one-year-old Kim filed for divorce from her rapper husband Kanye West earlier this year.

The rumours started when pictures of them holding hands on a roller coaster at amusement park Knott's Scary Farm in California surfaced. They were apparently there with a large group of friends including Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker.

They may not actually be dating but the internet has gone wild with jokes and speculations.

Most people were left shocked.

Some saw it as poetic justice after he got stuck with the bill after having dinner with her ex-husband Kanye a while ago.

Overall, people were kind of confused about what was happening.

Some people thought they knew who was behind the "leaked photos".

The "source" who denied the dating rumour wasn't really deemed credible.

Real questions were asked.

To conclude:

Kim and Davidson recently appeared on an episode of SNL together. PEOPLE magazine, which first broke the news, has reached out to their representatives for a comment but hasn't heard back so far.
