Why bring such ugly characters to life with your acting skills?

Why need to remind this horror image, why not some healthy and soothing topics in this critical time.

There are thousands of beautiful stories, of love, hope and kindness. Yet Pakistan media pulls out an old, gruesome chapter nobody wants to recall.

Rather than making something positive this is being shown to the world about Pakistan. Excellent!

This is a more suitable theme for the actor who is so keen to make name in anything.

Why can't you have the courage to select the story of Afia Siddiquie.......double standards!

This looks quite horrific! The artist has played the role of utmost gruesome maniac, I think that this reminiscence would hurt the families of those who were victimized... I agree that we can't hide away from the reality but this movie should be rated for parental guidance..

Don't understand why people are being critical of this. We all watch Ted Bundy movies on Netflix but are afraid to bring local serial killers stories to screen.

@Fastrack It's a story that is part of our History. Why live in denial and not show the public the dark side of society. We have enough love triangles and masoom crying girls already on screen so it's a breath of fresh air that people are showing other stories.

Why NOT to depict this horror story? Would society rather be an ostrich and ignore the fact that such monsters do exist only just to avoid feeling uncomfortable? Or would society rather bring light to this difficult topic so we can be careful and keep our children safe. I don’t know about you but I will choose the latter any day!

@Alz,---- so, killing over 100 innocent kids and dissolving their bodies in acid, is a breath of fresh air for you to remember ever?

But Why?! I cannot even imagine watching such a piece of so called 'art'. This is a new low for our celebrities.

Please think of the hundred families who have grieved for their innocent children over the past two decades. I know Western media depicts the lives of serial killers and it is a gritty form of storytelling, but do not disregard the families involved over here. This character will bring to surface all the wounds that those families have very hardly covered up. Just to hide their pain. At least you should have fictionalised it or changed the name of the character. This is terrible!

I generally hate this guy (tries to act like a celebrity without being one).. But here at least he's part of a project that's not based on formula. Yes the topic is gruesome, but if the movie is well made, full points to him.

@AK because they have a desire to act in Hollywood some day or get recognized outside of their local media and taking a chance on Aafia will make that point moot forever. You raised a very good point which only a true lover of Pakistan and its citizens can come up with.

What's sad is people criticizing this. It's an artistic expression. Let's see how it turns out otherwise you can go back to watching those stupid dramas on TV.
