Aima Baig and Shahbaz Shigri are officially engaged
Aima Baig and Shahbaz Shigri recently celebrated their engagement surrounded by family and friends at a private ceremony. The celebrations were held a few months after the couple announced their engagement on social media on March 20.
Photographer Maha Wajahat Khan took to social media to post pictures and videos from the engagement ceremony. She shared a video of the moment the couple exchanged engagement rings as family and friends cheered them on.
We also got to see Baig and Shigri pose for the camera as an officially engaged couple.
The ceremony was attended by actors Hania Aamir and Ali Rehman Khan as well as singer Uzair Jaswal. Both Rehman and Jaswal co-starred with Shigri in 2010's indie film Slackistan.
Many of Baig's celebrity friends such as models Abeer Rizvi, Areeba Habib and actor Hira Mani also congratulated her and Shigri on the engagement via Instagram Stories.
Baig and Shigri have been together for quite some time. They announced their relationship on Nida Yasir's show in 2020.
The couple often post lovingly about each other on social media. Baig recently to took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of herself with Shigri on Eid.
