Bollywood actor, producer and director Randhir Kapoor has been shifted to the ICU after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Housefull 2 star, who was recently hospitalised along with five of his staff members, said doctors needed to perform some further tests on him.

"I have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to do some further tests. The hospital is taking very good care of me and I thank Tina Ambani. Everything is under control. They are going all out for me. The doctors are around all the time," he told Etimes.

Admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, he told Times of India, "I have no clue how I got Covid. I am surprised. Let me also tell you that my entire staff of five members, too, has tested positive, and I have got them hospitalised with me in the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital."

Father to Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karishma Kapoor, he attended wife Babita's birthday party on April 20. After he got diagnosed with the virus, Babita, Karisma and Kareena all got tested and fortunately did not contract the virus.

Randhir is the brother of Rajiv and Rishi Kapoor. Rajiv passed away earlier this year while Rishi passed away last April.

Already lost three of his siblings in just over a year, tough times for the family. Really hope he pulls through and fully recovers.
