New mama Juggun Kazim, who looks beautiful as ever, recently opened up about her journey with weight loss soon after she welcomed her little bundle of joy into the world.

Taking to social media, the TV show host opened up about relying on intermittent fasting as a means of losing all the weight (88kg) she gained during her pregnancy.

"Because I'm feeding, I'm following the 16-8 formula, which means I fast for 16 hours and eat in the eight-hour window. 10 o'clock in the morning I consume my first meal, and 6pm is my last meal," she revealed, adding that this is the process that has been giving her the best results.

"If guests need to come over, then I shift my time forward. I try that I eat by 2pm then so I can consume my last meal at 10pm when dinner is served."

Encouraging a healthy diet, Kazim explained she starts her day with a glass of zeera (cumin) and water and two boiled or scrambled eggs for breakfast. "If I get hungry again, I then have fruit salad — oranges, apples or guava so that my fruit intake is balanced and when lunch is served, I don't go all out on it." While she generally avoids bananas, she eats them if she ever feels low on potassium or faces joint pains.

"For lunch, I usually have a small cup of boiled brown rice — but basically, I have any salan at all," she revealed. Kazim also laughed about how getting diet food made everyday is both a hassle and expensive.

"So whatever gravy is at home, I have that with its meat with either a vegetable salad (iceberg, tomato, lemon, capsicum, black pepper and salt) or lentils — or put in yogurt, and it tastes super yummy. Or I have soup." After that, she has another serving of fruit and then a pure protein-based meal at 6pm, which is her last.

"I try to make my last meal high-protein," she added, reminding us that Pakistani barbecue is extremely delicious (like we needed a reminder!).

"I'm getting amazing results from this. Initially it was two to 3kg per week, but now it's more stable and a few pounds weight loss per week. You can try intermittent fasting too but remember, if you have the same meal daily, you'll go crazy," she said, encouraging innovation with food.

"If you can afford it, you can add prawn to your meals too. But always remember to add fruit and loads of water to your meal so that you're not constipated." Kazim also suggested sleeping at least eight to 10 hours. "When you're sleeping, you're not thinking of food," she laughed.

She advised that everyone consult a nutritionist or some sort of professional before beginning their journey towards weight loss, and making sure to complete the multivitamin requirements in order to tackle any deficiencies.

"But remember, at the end of the day, know that no matter what size you are, you are beautiful."

The Vasl actor welcomed her third-born with husband Feisal Naqvi on October 9, 2020 — announcing that the baby girl was named Syeda Noor Bano Naqvi.

Previously, in a heartbreaking post on social media, Kazim had opened up about her miscarriage and how she hadn't revealed the pregnancy due to her precarious pregnancies, which led to people assuming she had just gained weight and proceeding to fat shame her.

"We need to stop fat shaming other people. People who are overweight know they are overweight. Their weight gain may be for any number of reasons, some desirable and some not. Yes, some people need to be encouraged to lead a more active lifestyle. But unless you are somebody's mother or sister, don't tell them what you think of their body," she had said.

Every person's food metabolism is unique to the person. There is no one-fits-all formula in it. But, if one has to really loose weight, take in your break-fast, two toasted slices of real bran bread and soften them in a cup of hot milk with a level tea-spoon of brown sugar, add a table spoon of isapghol, mix it well and eat it, followed with half a cup of tea with half a spoon of brown sugar added. It would appear difficult but, I am using it to keep my weight constant as well as cholesterol in check. I take normal 300 calories diet in lunch and dinner each, without any special arrangement.

Motivation is the key for success, but instead of struggling to be constantly motivated, you have to find the right solution that is not difficult to stick with and thus your motivation becomes inevitable. Want some hint?
