Remember when Adnan Siddiqui was in a movie with Angelina Jolie?
Did you know Meray Paas Tum Hostar Adnan Siddiqui was in a movie with Angelina Jolie? He just shared throwback pictures with the starlet and actor Brad Pitt in case you didn't know or forgot.
The actor met the Hollywood A-listers during the filming for A Mighty Heart in India in 2007. A Mighty Heart was directed by Michael Winterbottom and based on the kidnapping and later killing of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl in Karachi. Jolie starred in the movie as Mariane Pearl, Daniel's wife.
Following an investigation, British-born alleged militant Omar Saeed Sheikh and three other men were arrested for the murder. However, in January 2021,the Supreme Court acquitted the four men.
Siddiqui played Dost Aliani, a parter of late Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, whose character was investigating Daniel Pear's kidnapping. Pitt was one of the producers.
“A Mighty Heart will always hold an indisputably prized place in my heart for professional and personal reasons,” Siddiqui reminisced in his Instagram post.
He said looking at the photos made him want to visit the Taj Mahal Palace, a hotel in Mumbai. Siddiqui, who has worked in both Hollywood and Lollywood films, made his Bollywood debut in the 2017 film Mom.
This isn't the first time he has shared pictures from the set of A Mighty Heart.
He shared one in July as well.
