Azaan Sami Khan released Mein Tera a month ago and ever since people have been in love. The song has been praised for the lyrics and composition as well for Khan’s voice.

Mein Tera is the title track of his album which features eight more songs — Maahiya, Dholna, Jaadugari, Aashiqui, Ik Lamha, Meri Sajna Re ft Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zama and Tu.

The song has now reached five million views on YouTube.

The 'Mein Tera' album is Hum Record’s first production and Azaan's first independent piece of work. According to him, the album is the collective effort of 63 musicians and technicians from Turkey, Macedonia, the UK, Pakistan and India. With a diverse team like this, it is not surprising that his first independent work has been well-received by listeners.

Azaan is the son of actor Zeba Bakhtiar and singer Adnan Sami Khan. He has previously worked for film music for Parey Hut Love and Parwaaz Hai Junoon.

In an earlier interview with Images, Khan said that the motivation for the album came because he wanted to connect with the listeners on a ‘personal level’.

Background music wasn't mixing well with his singing. Trying to copy what's his name, the Weeknd.

Praise for Ms Neelam Sarwat, an unknown young Pakistani singer from Faisalabad, who has crossed FORTY MILLION views with the heart touching rendition of Lata Mangeshkar`s song "Pankh hotay to ud aati!" Unfortunately, she has no lobby in Pakistan or India to promote her talent!!!

@Nakheel Let's not forget the poisonous words of his father against Pakistan before the naive youth start drooling over him. Don't fault him for his lost soul father, although wish he had excluded Indian musicians and instead had from IOK.
