Humaima Malik just opened up about wishing she could cover her head all her life.

In a social media post, the Bol actor shared a picture with friend and former actor Noor Bukhari, praising her for the guidance and penning down words of appreciation that came straight from her heart.

"There are very few people in life who expect nothing from you but your own good! Noor you are so noorani meri pyaari Noori, may Allah bless you always and forever," Malik posted.

She then thanked her for the scarf, saying a little prayer of motivation for herself and asking fans to do the same.

"Thank you for this beautiful gift, I loved wearing this scarf. May Allah add me in His loved ones and give me strength to carry hijab all my life," she said, with the hashtags "praysforNoor" and "prayforme".

Earlier, Malik's brother Feroze Khan also turned towards religion. He later revealed his reasons for returning to showbiz after distancing himself from the industry.

"My Sheikh, he has ordered me that I can't quit showbiz," he had said, adding that he believes the industry is a source of paighaam [message] from one place to another.

"He also told me that I needed to be at this place. I have to do something out of this, I have to make something out of this. So i'm reading into a lot of scripts, looking into a lot of scripts — I may act, I may produce, but i'm here," he informed fans and followers.

Consistence behavior and a strict, stick attitude to divine order is required in this regard

No wonder Pakistani people are not known for their science /maths/technology skills anywhere in the world now. The previous generations could keep religion as private matter and did good in open competetions in the world. Now it is a defeatist approach.

Humaima Malik just opened up about wishing she could cover her head all her life." So long you don't wish to go to a country where Hizab is banned , please cover your head for as long as you wish. Please remember that certain Muslim countries do not allow western type of dress to be worn by women in public. Those women to have such dream as you have.

We should hear younger generation in Muslim countries speaking more about modern education, advancement in science and technology, and such like things. But I find them getting more and more into discussing religion or showing more concern toward religion than those things mention a bit earlier . No doubt there has hardly been any worthwhile contribution by 1.7 billions Muslims community in science and technology .

Wearing a Hijab does not make you pious. What counts is your character. You can cover yourself with all what you want but it will not change who you are.

Some of the people in this comment section make me laugh. Specially the so called Muslims. Just because she has decided to wear a hijab does not mean she is not progressive or she cannot contribute to a progressive society. Secondly, those of you who are questioning Muslim contributions to sceinece & technology, I think if you read the history you'll find that the algorithm behind the very smart phone, tablet or laptop you're using to type your comment was created by a pious, righteous Muslim (that's just one example). The rest is history. Just because someone strives to practice their religion (be it Islam or any other religion for that matter) does not mean they limit themselves or cut themselves from contributing to a betterment of this world. In fact Islam strongly encourages you to contribute to the world in a positive and progressive way.

@Touseef this is what they teaches you in Madrasa lies lies and lies. Actually there are very less percentage of muslims with critical thinking and curiosity to contribute in the scientific progress of society and almost all of them migrated to Europe or America. What you people did with Nobel laureate Abdus Salman, he didn't got what he deserves from his motherland. Hope future generations of both Pakistan and India focus on science and technology rather then stone age practices....
