"You're not crazy, you're different. And people who are different, they do things," says Shah's friend in the trailer, setting the tone for the series.
Raaz has been written by Mansoor Saeed and directed by Asad Ali Zaidi.
Shah's name was on everyone's lips after she posted videos of herself in the conference room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad. At the time, Shah already had a million followers on TikTok but she wasn't as widely known as she is today.

Earlier in 2020, she and her friend Sandal Khattak were doxxed and pictures of their CNICs and passports were leaked online. Their real names, ages and addresses were made public without their consent.
Shah also accused Mufti Abdul Qavi of sexual harassment and slapped him in a video that went viral on social media. In 2016, he was a central figure in the murder investigation of model Qandeel Baloch. Qavi was later stripped of his mufti title and isolated by his family.
