Veteran actor Nadia Jamil, who has through social media shared her journey of being diagnosed with cancer and fighting it, has given her fans something to smile about by hinting that she might be returning to their screens.

"Getting my hair back. I guess I'll be needing it to get back into acting on desi TV again. So Shukar Alhamdolillah," the Damsa actor posted, showing her black mane that started growing back as part of her recovery.

Nadia also took this opportunity to remember how she felt without hair and the lessons she learned from her experience, expressing readiness to move forward with a new perspective.

"But I will never forget facing and overcoming the fear of being bald, of feeling beautiful with no hair," she said. "Bald Cancer Nado taught me how to be my own best friend. Alhamdolillah."

The veteran actor, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, told her fans she was on the road to recovery soon after the surgery.

But she kept it real and was open about the very real and intense struggles of a cancer patient, at one point revealing she was diabetic, and how it had "been an unforgettable struggle."

"Chemo is a battle," she had said. "But I'm without fear, in solitude held tight, cocooned in Allah's love. Every lesson sent I try to learn. Pain, sickness is all a journey to healing and patience. Bad Sepsis, sugar 600, nearly went into coma."

Here's wishing that Nadia Jamil is back on her feet and that we get to her her on our screens soon again!

@Surya Kant it was unnecessary to reveal feelings of woman jealousy. We need to be positive human beings first and we should make efforts for it.
