Celebs can't get enough of Turkey — and neither can we.

With the second wave of the pandemic underway, travelling has been off the agenda for many. Those who chose to stay home are living vicariously through celebs who, this year, all seem to be making their way to Turkey.

After Adnan Siddiqui's visit to the tomb of Ertugrul Ghazi, Imran Abbas's face-off with Cem Ucan in a game of pool, Anoushey Ashraf's love for cats in Istanbul, and Aiman and Muneeb's adorable pictures with exotic scenery that made us drool, we're now following Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor in the former capital of the world.

The duo seems to be having a fabulous time with their family, and here's all we're living for.

This couple feels it needs to prove its romance to the public by posting odd pictures of their love and chemistry, though I strongly believe in personal freedom yet this looks cheap.

Horrible examples for the general public. No consideration for S.o.ps, no masks, no nothing . The people who follow these brainless zombies on Instagram sit and homes think Wow what a life they have . These people have destroyed our culture and common sense. In a few days they'll requesting for "prayers and movie reccomendations"!

With Corona surging in Turkey only Pakistanis and Africans are visiting Turkey. Our obsession with Turkey needs to be moderated. Celebs and influencers should be promoting Pakistan’s domestic tourists spots

I feel like somethings missing. Oh yes, Covid-19. Good to know wealthy and famous people are not affected by Covid-19 and don't need to bother with face masks, social distancing and all that.

@Faiza Malik there is'NOTHING' in these refreshing photographs which is against our'Eastern'values. Just normal pics of a happy couple. Please learn to be happy in happiness of others. Stop being judgemental as you will go only&only in your own & one grave only & will be accountable for ur own deeds/misdeeds only. Yes-inly one grave and only you. Why worry for otherś values then? They are happy togather &sharing their happiness with us. Please have an open ,unprejudiced heart to be happy on happiness of others when they share it with you. Smile and laugh with them.

@Arif Tahir but Covid-19 is also surging in Pakistan. So if it was me, I would not be travelling. I think its too risky even though you are young and rich. It's a bit irresponsible. As many of their followers may thinks it's safe. It's not safe.

@Faiza Malik masks and SOPS clearly only apply to us mortal citizens. The rich and famous are immune to Covid-19. She has like 7 million followers. Consider the impact of these pictures on them?

@Chrís Dăn come on, go easy on her. You can't expect over 200 million people that we are to feel the same way. We have different bounderies and perceptions of what's OK and what's not. That said, we are a very judgemrental nation. Doesn't take much to fall from grace. Progress will take its time. Even in my family there re different degrees of what's acceptable and what's not. So let's all try to be tolerant of each other.

@Laila let people live as per their wishes. What life you choose for urself is your choice. Do not . Eastern culture is beautiful and not as ugly as you are portraying. Is Japan in Europe and not in East? Is S.Korea in Europe? Is India in West?Is Turkey -85% of Turkey is not in East? Is Sri Lanka not in East?we all are Eastern countries and have happiness and happiness is worth sharing. All these Eastern countries share it.

@N abidai ? Why would anyone want to pass as Turkish or anything else ? People in Pakistani are happy to look Pakistani and be Pakistani. I only know that Pakistani people get offended if someone calls them Indian looking.

@Chrís Dăn I think you need to go back and read what I wrote you. I never said anything about culture being ugly or judging others. I told you a simple fact. In a nation of 220 million you can't expect everybody to have the same uniform views on what's acceptable or not in terms of norms, values and even attire. We're all different. If you don't get that then you're being intolerant and not accepting the diversity of opinions. Hence I told you to go easy on the other commentator. I don't think she means it badly. Like I said, it's not an uncommon opinion. When you as celebrities make your travels public to an audience largely ignorant then they must expect diferent views in feedback. We can't afford more casualties. We have elders in our home. I have to go out of my way to not touch them because I care for their health. I would never travel in this time and age and risk my own life and those of others more vulnerable. To carry on the way they are is simply irresponsible.

@Laila this is you. The lady and her husband are two other people with their own views. Accept them as they are. as you have nil right to tell them what to do when it is their own life. Respect views of others. The maximum positive expression in a civilized life can be a nice token expression to happy people. One does nt need to be a cynic 24/7.

@Chrís Dăn before you lecture others about accepting views you should take your own advice and practise what you preach. Secondly the topic is an article about a celebrity couple. Stick to topic, dont get personal with me by calling me cynical, when you don't know me and I am not the topic. And YES!! I have every right to comment on their publisized choice to travel when Covid-19 is raging. Commenting by expressing ones views on articles is the purpose of a comment section. I urge you to learn tolerance and be more respectful of others and my indisputable right to opine and comment on content of the articles. Otherwise you shouldn't comment on Dawn articles either. They are a celebrity couple who chose to share their very irresponsible choice to travel during Covid-19, a pandemic and using their platform to share this to millions of followers. So, yes, they must expect that readers will express their views on this. If you don't like my views, then simply don't read them.

These celebrities have a social responsibility which these days primarily includes promoting the importance of SOPs related to COVID-19 not brazenly flouting them which gives out this wrong impression that observing SOPs is optional and they also need to show compassion in the face of a global pandemic when millions have died or lost their loved ones, thousands haven’t seen their families in months and so many are losing jobs sharing such pictures of expensive vacations is plain distasteful and callous
