Aamir Liaquat and wife test positive for Covid-19 as cases rise

We urge everyone else to wear masks, sanitize their hands and maintain appropriate distance!

With active infections at an all-time high in the country, it seems the second wave of the corona pandemic is upon us.

TV host and politician, Aamir Liaquat and his wife Tuba Aamir are the latest to test positive for coronavirus.

Taking to her Instagram, Tuba wrote in a post, "Salam everyone. @iamaamirliaquat and I have tested positive for coronavirus. We are isolating ourselves at home."

She asked their fans for their prayers and added, "We need your prayers more than ever right now. May Allah give shiffa to everyone. Ameen."

We wish the couple a speedy recovery and urge everyone else to wear masks, sanitize their hands and maintain appropriate distance!

@NoVoice Expressing remorse and sorry will not get rid of this menacing virus. We need to pray to the one and only who has send this test upon us. We should be thankful that he has kept us still pretty safe from the rest of the world where death in this disease is rampant. Just take the example of USA being a first world country and the most advanced in health care, they still are reeling with this disease. Only last Sunday they created another world record of 100K virus cases in one day. They have already recorded the highest death in the world. Think about it why they have the most cases.
