Another Ertugrul star wants to visit Pakistan and have chai

In a video message, Ezgi Esma Kürklü thanked her Pakistani fans for all the love.

The cast of Dirilis Ertugrul is smitten by the love they are getting from their Pakistani audience.

Many like Esra Bilgic, Gulsim Ali and Engin Altan Düzyatan have thanked fans for the appreciation and support that made the Urdu dub of the show break records on YouTube. Joining then is actor Ezgi Esma Kürklü.

Kürklü, who plays Banu Çiçek in the hit show, recorded a video message in which she expressed her gratitude for her Pakistani fans and also shared her desire to visit the country.

“I’ve been receiving hundreds of messages full of love, kindness and nice words from you," says Ezgi in the video. "Thank you very much for it, it really touched my heart.”

“When I think of Pakistan, I always think of a very colourful place with kind and energetic people. I think it’s a crowded country and I like crowded places... It’s a bit like Turkey, probably. And you know, as they say, it’s two countries but one nation so I think we’re close.”

She went on to say, “I really want to come [to Pakistan]. I don’t know when… probably when these travelling restrictions are a little lighter. I want to come, because there are a lot of things that I am interested in about Pakistan,”

She added in Urdu, "Jab mai Pakistan aungi, kia aap mujhey chai pilayenge? [When I come to Pakistan, will you offer me tea?]”

Can't wait to see Ezgi and her fellow Ertugrul cast members visit Pakistan. We have all the chai!

First, we must support, promote and rate our own stars who are talented. Nothing wrong with watching and admiring foreign stars. They too like a following and admiration. We also watch great films from Hollywood and Bollywood, both of which boast some excellent actors. The latter are even culturally, and often religiously, the same. Why not give them a little boost of admiration too?

Each of the main actors in this Turk serial made millions of dollars thanks to the Pakistan fans. No wonder they will be happy to reciprocate.

Lovely. We can now expect popular baby names like Mehnat, Ahmet, Fatma etc mashallah. Those Arabic names like Mir Jaffer are getting boring anyway.

Can anyone help why PTV's high quality Urdu dubbings of the drama series are not available post Episode 29 Season 1? What is available after that particular episode is very poor in audio-video quality.

Dear Ezgi Esma Kürklü Pakistani's will not only offer you Chai but with cookies, pastries, vegetable pakoras, garlic bread, chana chat, yugut with bhale's, iron (Lassi) and much more of your taste. I have not been crazy of drama's whoever like to see "Merey Pas Tum Ho" Merey Sultan and Ertugrul . Muslim of South India, especially Pakistan are very fond of learning the history of "Ottoman Empire" and love to go through the drama serial as Story of Turkish Muslims. Good Luck ! Carry On.

She is so sweet. I think its great if more external exposure can foster exchange and more exposure to other Muslim countries, their cultures, their way of Islam, especially for Pakistanis because many of us need it. Maybe one day we too can catch up and have our women ride horses, be strong, assertive and active members of society like Turkish women were centuries ago and still are today. Maybe some of our menfolk will learn that progress can not be achieved by keeping half the population home. I welcome Turkish and Middleeastern exposure through media. We need to contrast the mullah run show of ignorance and desi patriarchal pseudo islam running amok in this country. So Yes, we should have more chais! You haven't tasted chai, until you have tasted the Pakistani chai, dear Ezgi!
