In this difficult time, Pakistani celebs send their love and condolences to those grieving. And it is evident that art, empathy and compassion transcends all.

Extremely sad . A legend has gone. He will be long remembered for his services to film industry, and his even handed approach to all subjects and matters in life. He was a true Indian , down trodden, and equally love all humans. The audiences of India Pak BD , have great love and respect for Rishi Kapoor, and his memories will remain live for a very long times in thoughts of audience. RIP.

The references to Chandni (one of the few commercial Bollywood films I saw), its song lyrics, the coupling of a young and beautiful Sridevi with Rishi, the pictures of the two made me teary-eyed. Truly the end of an era. May they both rest in peace.

Rishi Kapoor. Perhaps the Only Indian Actor who got better and better and better with Age. People talk about Amitabh but he got better past 65. Rishi never went through a bad “ patch” . I remember seeing Naseeb and ‘chal mere bhai’ , he takes a tumble gets up and three different facial reactions and smiles billion dollar smile. If I may say so, if he was in Hollywood he would been far ahead of most actors his age. His presence guaranteed a movie would at least be watchable. And I am a Pakistani, so I am objective if nothing else. Sadly with the exception of Amir, their is nobody quite close within a mile of his game. Even his own son is decent at best.
